Tarmac driveways are commonly used throughout the UK, as they provide an affordable and flexible solution that requires little ongoing maintenance. They use the same asphalt that is used on roads, which makes them extremely well suited to supporting the weight of numerous vehicles.
Resin
A resin driveway is permeable, allowing rain water to drain through. Every particle of stone is covered in resin and minute voids are created during the laying process for drainage. As well as being decorative, a resin driveway is sustainable, practical and versatile. It doesn’t soften in summer, freeze in winter or fade in sunlight. Maintenance is simple as weeds do not grow through it and there are no loose stones to sweep. Just brush and power wash occasionally to keep your resin driveway looking like new.

Block paving is cost-effective, can be installed rapidly and offers a wide range of colours, styles and patterns to choose from. You can select a colour to enhance your property – or perhaps make a statement with a contrasting palette. Popular styles include traditional, cobbled, smooth, granite or permeable. Different patterns are more suitable for different areas – herringbone is ideal for heavy traffic, basket weave for light traffic and stretcher bond is perfect for narrow spaces.
